The casting was the most curious about Sunset Pass (1946). Considering this came from a big studio, RKO, and production values were decent, it didn't have many recognizable names. The star was James Warren, who only recently been getting credited roles, and Nan Leslie, this being her first credited part! Even the sidekick was a unknown charmer (John Laurenz)! They didn't have the right type charisma to win me over. And with that, Sunset Pass didn't leave much of a impression.
