I loved it more and more with every minute until the (in my opinion completely unnecessary, manipulative, illogical and simply not fair) bottle scene and its aftermath that completely knocked me off the beat and left me emotionally numb for all the ending :/

Perhaps the best riot scene in comedy history. In the script, present is drama and flashbacks from the past are comedy. Combination of drama and comedy seems not to be that uncommon in Korean cinema.

This is a sweet little film about how important friendship is and how we sometimes lose sight of that as we grow older and the focus of our lives isn't entirely on ourselves. It's a theme that transcends culture and demographics, which made it very easy for me to relate to the characters in the movie even with my limited experience as a teenage girl or a middle-aged housewife in South Korea.
