Following his third failed attempt to join the military, courage-obsessed misfit, Ned Chipley, takes a Marine Officer's advice to "protect the home front" a little too seriously. ton problemi yüzünden hikayede içkin halde var olan birçok önemli noktanın sadece üzerinden geçebiliyor. ama ucuz stüdyo filmleri gibi müzik kullanımına rağmen hikayesini tamamen o biçimde anlatmaması iyi kötü bir artısı diye yazılabilir. ilk 30 dakikalık dayanılmaz gelen süreç atlatıldıktan sonra tatlı izlenilecek bir film, ama daha çok kaçmış bir potansiyel gibi duruyor.

This movie is moderately amusing. It has a few laughs. Performances were weak. There is little that will stay with you after the final credits. I particularly disliked the lack-luster ending that has become so popular these days. They spend time contemplating a man's purpose, but it seems they lost focus on the film's purpose, as it almost completely fizzles out near the end. Worth watching, but after the long build up lacked a good payoff to end the story.
