Engaging mystery-thriller, working well with piecing together the story rather than being outwardly exciting, even though the acting, music, and slow divulging of the plot helps with the mood. The back of the DVD bragged about the shocking ending, and it sure is shocking and visceral, that ends this mystery on a sort of hilariously naff note -- I can see how people can be mad by this, but I guess sometimes the mysteries in life actually have a very ordinary conclusion.
