The post-Nazi syphilis scare! Shows us how only women are targeted by the heath authorities in the hunt to contain the spreading of this hush-hush disease. Well acted, with a sleazy nature of older men getting together with younger women in an environment where syphilis would flourish. There was times I felt they padded the story too much, keeping things overly safe, and I'll fully admit it's a unglamorous topic for a film, but this is one of the best serious attempts I've come across so far.
