Strangers

Apparently some people who watch this don't get it... the two guys on the train start out fearing each other for ethnic reasons - one is an Arab (reading an Arabic newspaper) - the other wears a Star of David around his neck and has Hava Nagila for his ringtone, meaning he's a (amusingly stereotypical) Jew. So basically this is a cutesy thing about how the initial tensions between the two turn into cooperation after they are faced with a common enemy. A bunch of Israeli film students made this.

It left me saying "so what?" ..For almost 2 million views youtube I was definitely expecting something better. I hate it when films are so obviously trying to send out a politically correct message.

Mass tension caused by antisemitism gets interrupted by the most brilliant phone-ringtone ever :). Arab and Jew unite. Great initiative.
