forgot to rate this ages ago but it's probably my least favourite of the lee specials. his meta-comedy is some of the best and most elaborate in the business when he keeps it tightly wound around itself, but at his loosest it can also start to feel like a repetitive crutch, exhaustively picking apart every joke in order to pad out 30 minutes of material into feature length.

Another very intelligent and entertaining stand-up special from Stewart Lee. This has more laughs than his previous show, "If You Prefer a Milder Comedian, Please Ask for One", but it is still in the same vein in terms of looking for something more than laughs. I always find it worth my time to watch Stewart Lee, and this was no exception. I am always left wanting more after a an hour of good stand-up, so I also liked that this was two hours long.

It's Lee back on absolutely top form! He is almost the anti-comedian and this isn't far from being anti-stand-up! Lee leaves almost every other comedian in the UK (as well as pretty much anywhere else!) flailing around aimlessly is his giant wake of genius.
