Unendurable. I honestly couldn't make it all the way through the thing, what with my brain hurting and all. Are the other three this insultingly slapdash and nonsensical, too? Why have there been three other ones, anyway? Who watches these things? Why are the cars dancing? What the fuck, man?

Despite one or two decent dance numbers (the one in the office building in particular) it's extremely hard to recommend this film to anyone at all, because everything else is such absolute drivel. Most disappointingly (but not really surprisingly), the music is absolute shit 90% of the time.

There is nothing new about this Step Up instalment from the previous. The faces not being familiar doesn't help matters even though you may find them cute. The dance sequences have good choreography but the moves are nothing great. I would recommend against watching it unless you are a dance aficionado.

Better than the third one, but a far cry from the best moments of the first or second one.

Interesting to see Miami has no police officers but, If irl a racially diverse group of dancers are staging stunts -to shit-awful dubstep remixes- aiming to stop their daddy's corporation from gentrifying the area, chances are you're too late. Like all good activists, youtube views are what really counts, until you sign up to that happy ending job offer from Nike of course. Dancing was mostly really boring.

I've come this far, now I have to see them all... Same storyline same, same love story, but the dancing keep being new and original and very entertaining! *Okay

The main thrust of the story here is that "The Mob," a Miami dance crew, is performing flash mobs to win a YouTube contest. They need to get 10 million hits to win $100,000. By my estimation there are about 12 people involved with each production.

Dance scenes are well performed (as far as I can tell) and competently shot, but everything else here approaches self-parody.

Entertaining, amusing, the acting wasn't even as bad as I feared and we saw something more than just dancing, but these films won't ever win a price for their depth. Watchable and entertaining, but nothing more.

I hate to admit this, but I've liked these movies for the dancing, NOT for the acting/storyline. Sadly this one lacks even in the dance dept. There's some cool stuff here, but they cut it short in order to build up the predictable story. Also, I love how the "Mob" starts dancing and some douchebag instantly calls the police (for whatever reason) and the cops NEVER show up!! Either you can get away with murder in Miami, or the cops know how stupid it is to get called in for "illegal" dancing!

This is like Fight Club but instead of message they give you cool moves! Actually enjoyable -provided that you have some booze and pretty low standarts for plot or acting.

A great dance movie but please don't watch this movie for its acting. I mean it's not awful acting but it won't be up for any awards anytime soon. The dancing on the other hand deserves some major accolades. About 90 percent of this movie is made up of dance routines, mostly flash mobs. They are all really amazing. The costumes are cool and the choreography is insane. The colors, lights and pimped out music really make this movie come alive. Oh and it also has Kathryn and Twitch in it, so yay!

Great job by Kathryn McCormick.
I mean, I'd rather see the movie concentrate a little more on the performers instead of making it look like a music video, but this worked out pretty well, too.
The third act wasn't that great, though. They immediately sign a deal with Nike? Really? Oh yeah, 'cause that's so..."The Mob"...breaking the fuckin' rules, man.

Naturally, the acting was dreadful, but keeping in mind how fantastic the dancing was, this movie was much better than the previous Step Ups.
