It does not have anything to do with the first installment of the series. Technically, it is not even a series. Anyway, this movie tries to be both political drama and submarine action thriller. The former feels a bit weak but not too bad. The latter is executed quite successfully. The major problem was in the script; the jokes are utter failures and cringe-inducing to say the least.
