Look, if I wanted to see Patrick Swayze's version of The Road Warrior... Wait. Patrick Swayze's version of The Road Warrior! Of course I want to see that!

It's like Waterworld in a Sandworld. Not quiet as exciting though.

It was during this movie that I finally realized that futuristic visions of the earth can have some far out technology, clothing, and even society will change, but I'll be damned if hair styles ever evolve beyond the way they are today.

Pretty weak post-apocalyptic action, it helps if you're a Patrick Swayze fan.

The movie's tone was inconsistent and there were way too many boring parts for my taste.

It's like a western or a pedestrian version of Mad Max, except worse

I really couldn't say No to watching this even though i knew exactly what to expect. Maybe with more action this would be better remembered.

Seven Samurai or even Dune Warriors does this better.

After Road House, the prospect of a post apocalyptic film starring Patrick Swayze, set in a desert landscape and full of terrible 1980s haircuts for the whole cast, was tantalizing. Sadly unlike that 1989 cult gem, this is very dull film. I would not even recommend this to Swayze or post apocalyptic genre fans unless they wanted to be completists.

As much as I am Swayze's biggest fan, this is a boring, nonvisceral rip off of mad max, with crappy dialogue and characters you won't care about. For extreme Swayze fans only.
