I've seen that some people legitimately consider this their favorite movie, and while it does have that quintessential 80's Americana vibe to it that resonates with many, I came away from it feeling a bit meh. There are some fun moments, but Jodie Foster & Mark Harmon are both missing for a bit too long & there are chunks of plot that don't make a lot of sense. Lots of blatant wish fulfillment included here as well, even when it eats up runtime that could be put to better use.
