Stargate: The Ark of Truth

I guess most people will hate this movie, but I, as a huge fan of the series, liked it. It's not as good as the series, it missed something, it was a bit over the top, even for Stargate. But the good thing is that it has its own style and it remains that way. Liked the movie, but I hope the next one will be better.

Just kind of pointless

Pretty good, especially as a wrap up to a long running series. As someone who watched some but not a lot of SG-1 I thought it was fairly well made and enough of a story line running through it to keep a casual series viewer or an original movie fan entertained. Not seeing the last season does leave the viewer a little bit guessing what is happening occasionally.

Like any other episode of the series, but longer. Gives some closure on the Ori story, and that's about it. Really, there's not that much to it, sadly.

A long and pretty average Stargate episode. Strange lighting and composition decisions arise from the transition from small-screen thinking, making the visual language very uncomfortable.

As good as shitty TV movies from popular sci-fi could ever hope to be.

I loved the original film - but got bored with the series. And as this carries on from where the series finished I was totally lost.

Good entertainment. Pleasant characters.

There is so much wrong with this movie on so many levels. I'll just pretend this film doesn't exist and I never watched it.

for anyone who's a fan of the series this is basically just one long episode, and that's not a complaint rather than an asset. it does a pretty decent job converting to an hour and a half while keeping everything that is good about the show.

It is not a disappointment, because I'm not a big fan of the tv show, but it was extremely boring to watch.

A bad way to end a great series.

Predictable conclusion to the Ori arc (did anyone really think it could have ended any differently?) that nevertheless produced some of the most gripping moments Stargate had to offer. Despite some of the massive flaws (such as the writers seemingly forgetting Teal'c's character and sending him on an LOTResque walkabout), it was nice to see the storyline finally come to a close.

As the conclussion of SG-1 series good enough, but as the alone standing film - nothing special.

Quite a good conslusion to a great TV series that was for a long time my number one.
