Starblack

Starblack compared to other Italian Westerns of its era is much more like a classic Western than a spaghetti Western due to its colorful production design, simple plot and straightforward direction. Its dime-store plot and masked avenging hero gives the movie a charm that's reminiscent of old serial or 1950s boy's comic books. It's so tongue-in-cheek it almost plays as avant-garde popart project. While its charm increase the watchability the movie still suffers from mediocrity on all levels.
