If they had to do a Pink Panther sf parody, the least they could have done would be to have it turn out that Pink is genetically engineered (which is why he has so many human traits), or maybe have a Pinkie version of "I Have No Mouth, And I Must Scream". But nope, nope, nope, nope, nope -- we gotta do something that's a parody of space opera just like _Duck Dodgers_. One nice idea at the very end that seems to be a tribute to the original version of _The Fly_
