Stamp Day for Superman

A ridiculous ad for U.S. Saving Bonds aimed at children courtesy of the United States Treasury Department. Unsurprisingly, the government propaganda is really cringy and unsubtle (let's just say that in the first couple of minutes a burglar that is never seen again in the film delivers an entire monologue about how not saving up led him down this life of crime - kids beware! buy bonds now!!!), but even the more Superman-like aspects, such as the crime plot, are underwhelming and run of-the-mill.

Weak story just used to flesh out this war stamp and bonds propaganda film.
