A great serial with Richmond as the title character, a costumed superhero (originating in Whiz Comics) who uses his supersonic Batplane (hey, didn't Batman come up with that idea first?) to battle Nazi supercriminal the Mask (Schumm). Well-paced action highlights from serial kingpin Witney help make this one of the most enjoyable serials currently available.

Spy Smasher (1942) is a 12-episode Serial. And as these cinema series goes, it's filled with a ton chaotic action. The thing which made this so entertaining was the action being actually good. Sure, economical thrills, but the stunt men went all in on this one! Quite spectacular.

Top-notch adventure serial from Republic, based on the Fawcett comic character. Non-stop fisticuffs, great cliffhangers, and the wartime setting leads to some genuinely dark moments, including two cliffhangers that the characters do NOT escape from.
