Spring in Park Lane

Apparently this is one of the most successful films in the UK during the classic era. Sure, it's a little bit cute, and there are romantic elegance included, but it's pure fluff with a the rich girl falling in love with the servant. I guess that means Anna Neagle really was super popular, though I've never felt that same admiration for her myself, and teaming her with a handsome lead as Michael Wilding was a excellent box office match. Still, to me, it's a very average romantic comedy.
