Spring Handicap

Will Fyffe as a gullible and lovable gambling man with a sensible wife. A rare lead role for the character actor in a simple and likable little comedy with a lot of setbacks before the payoff. He manages to carry this film surprisingly well. Then again, he's quite the character, as the role required.
