I understand it's satire, but it's incredibly cold and brings nothing of substance in its message.

Not terrible, but not thought provoking enough to be truly memorable.

Mindless rideshare murder spree. From start to finish it's beyond belief. There is a total disconnect between his attitude and his actions. Extra points for the slaphappy upbeat attitude throughout. It's an insane ride along that's not really worthwhile.

The satire is too on-the-nose for my taste. The fact of younger generations being too obsessed with their online image is something my kids already jokingly mock, so to put it to film is a kind of low hanging fruit that just doesn't play out with any oomph. As a thriller, or a horror movie, this one isn't very tense or scary.

The way it's filmed makes for kind of a frustrating watch at times, and an interesting one at others. It's a very mediocre film overall.

Satire falls short whenever it tries to be too analytical or funny, but whole thing is so likable as this frenzy app-driven, livestream-oriented mess. As a found footage sucker, loved the design and even the repercussion stuff -- Reddit, 4chan boards with incels celebrating Kurt, New Yorker articles about Jessie (the "winner" because she produces real interesting content, loved that), Daily Beast viral pieces on Kurt's "works". Wild ride on social media and people's psycho need for attention,

This movie truly understands who the scariest people are in society nowadays. Incel sociopaths really do be creepy. The whole social media angle was laughably bad, but in a movie that doesn't take itself seriously I can suspend my disbelief and accept it. I actually vibed with the humor and the brand of horror, two rare things for me with this kind of movie. End of the lesson.

It's a mildly satisfying horror comedy with something to say about the modern mania for having an online audience, and it sometimes successfully says something.

It's similar to Dashcam but 1000 times less weird and with a more likeable protagonist

One of like three movies so far to genuinely understand modern internet culture.

It is chilling to think that in a few years we might be looking at this and thinking, "oh that's all they thought social media would do to us. It got so much worse." Keery is good and the production value serves the purpose to make me angry. Good, but I didn't enjoy my experience.

Psycho Killer. İnternet ortamında ünlü olmak isteyen genç, arabasıyla müşterileri alıp herkesi izletir. Kimse genci izlemeyince, müşterileri öldürmeye başlar. Son kurbanı stand-up kız olur. Pek tavsiye edilecek film değil. Ünlü biri olmak, mantığıyla saçma işler yapmak. Sadece etkileyici olduğunu söyleyebilirim. Polis vurma sahnesi olmasaydı. Filmin sonunda, fenomen oluyor. Özgüveni tavan, eksik afili.

This was a fucking disturbing movie, genuine moments that really creeped me out. Joe Keery was fucking fantastic in this. It was also pretty funny at times too. A lot of people are really hung up on how unsubtle this movie is, but I feel like it works to it's advantage given the subject/concept of the movie. I was fascinated by how hilariously delusional and flat out insane the lead character is. Thought it was pretty effective on the merits of it being a disturbing thriller.

The biggest revelations come in the moment(s) you realize that the internet now is an even nastier, faster, crueler place. A bit of a mess in writing but if this were any less hyperbolic it would be unpalatable.

It's great to see a film about the internet that's made by someone who clearly understands and uses it -- the psychological disassociation, the solipsism it engineers, the unreality of it, the memes, they are all explored in this brilliantly put together story that feels hugely modern, and is often funny (perhaps moreso if you're up to date with the memes). The ending is like the ending to King of Comedy, and that itself deserves a gander.
