Not really a horror and not so much a exposé of a slimy business. More a study of a man's psyche seeking spiritualists to communicate with his dead fiancé. Apart from a couple of moments where he does reach contact, this doesn't really work as far as being a interesting movie. Moves too slowly and quiet for that.
