It's unclear what they're even trying to do here. Is surreptitiously drugging someone an innocent act of friendship? Are conspiracy-theorists wise men? The former is the film's major bonding experience and the latter gives the advice that catalyzes the film's truly baffling climax. The main character is nearly appealing in her genuine awkwardness, but she's not given anything resembling a decent story to occupy and the whole thing is just a very confusing worse-than-TV movie.

Fun and surprising and weird with a dynamite performance from Steele.

I enjoyed this movie, and especially Sarah Steele's firecracker performance. But, humor aside, it's still a liberal propaganda hit piece. If they want to talk hypocrisy on the issue of free speech, they should reflect on their own reflections.
