Not enough action and too much out of place comedy, as well as too many sped up action scenes kept this from getting a higher rating. I was hoping for something more along the lines of SPL or Flashpoint.

decent enough popcorn action flick. plot is pretty standard HK undercover stuff, but played much more lightly than usual. yen hams it up and acts a bit of a buffoon which for me flip flopped between enjoyable and annoying. the climax was a lot of fun with a cool car chase. nothing in here is anywhere near yen's best, and the plot keeps it from standing out, but for action fans it'll do nicely.

This movie has at least one good street fight sequence at the end. The story wrapper was a bit convoluted and punctuated by numerous side plots and comedy that subtracted more than adding to the excitement. Donnie Yen as a gang member, even while undercover was not as satisfying as medieval settings. His signature Kung Fu style seemed to give way to gangland-style street brawling. Tian Jing also gave a few good fight sequences. Overall, it was worthwhile.

lame comedy, weak story, retarded acting and cheesy ass soundtrack

Not bad, but not great. Donnie can still produce some good action in 2013, but there's not enough of it. We're not watching for the sub-par drama.

Donnie Yen'in basrolünde oynadigi "uzun metrajli reklam filmi". Her dakika Volvo ve Lenovo reklami görmekten bikiyor insan. Vasatin altinda senaryo, berbat kurgu, -Donnie Yen haric- kötü oyunculuklar... Izlemeye degmez.

I think the modern types of Donnie Yen movies are worth it for the final fights. Otherwise, it was pretty generic. The banter with the ladycop could have been more fun, and a more unruly Yen was interesting t first but not always well done.
