YTS.

Well done and simple drama, about a heavy subject (rape). It stars a young Kristen Stewart.

it did everything a film should do, leave huge emotional and physcological impact. there where some rubbish parts, but i wouldnt know how to replace them so they may not even be pure rubbish but misinterpreted. the music is perfect apart from end credits music, cast was perfect and acting is sublime. this film wont make you happy but you will go through a collage of thoughts leaving you different then when you first started

Kristen Stewart in a role where she is frequently mute, makes her acting seem sometimes vacant. A girl who can not deal with having been raped, hides it and shuts herself off from everyone. Another example of a teenager over thinking things. I liked her demure character, despite the obvious flaws and lack of maturity. Most of her classmates were very immature, cruel and stupid. The teachers were annoying, except for the art teacher (Steve Zahn) who was inspiring.

An above average high school drama. Kristen Stewart played the depressed rape victim freshman perfectly. I liked the different personalities of the teachers a lot. I can relate to having teachers like that. The ending I think went a bit far, we get it he was a bad guy, they could have left out the attack. Pretty much every other teenage girl in this film was an annoying stuck up cunt.

Top badass moment? The fight scene in the 'secret' room. Yeh, throw that cleaning fluid! Getting the bastard is badass, regardless of the situation. 0 cats and 0 decapitations.

For what should have been an emotionally engaging and powerful film this is a pretty flat film. The central theme and what should be the driving point of this film is not fully developed into a compelling story.Instead the filmmaker's give us a mediocre presentation of a girl trying to cope with what happened to her that has almost no emotional bite and never really drew me into her character.

I guess I'm just allergic to Kristen Stewart, because watching this movie was physically unpleasant. Could have been much, much better. One of the greatest disappointments of the year.

It could have been so much better. This movie has the potential of being so amazing and so heartbreaking, but the director didn't quite pull it through. I think that she settled for an OK movie instead of putting in the work for a grandslam.
