Yeesh, for a bunch of guys who enjoy talking smack about bad movies they sure weren't successful in creating a purposefully bad one. Every meant-to-be-funny moment goes on for at least one-third too long and most of the material is very cringe-worthy or crude in that 'I'm not having fun with this' way.

Tries to be a good shitty movie, but it fails so horribly. Should've been a great movie for me, but jesus christ. My eyeballs rolled in my eyesockets like diarrhea through a drain.

I was pretty disappointed in Space Cop. Since I do like "Half in the Bag" I kinda knew what to expect, but the jokes were just too lame, repetitive and simply not funny.

Stick to dissecting films, not directing, and remember...those who can't do, teach!

Was actually looking forward to this as a fan of RLM, but it fell flat. I get that it was supposed to be a bad movie making fun of bad movies, but I was hoping for some better comedy.

A series of more or less inside gags loosely tied together by some forced writing and awkward tone. The original trailer had more vision.

If you've seen any redlettermedia stuff you probably already know if you'll like this. It's their usual stuff (love for low budget hard work projects, hammering jokes into the ground, bad voices, parody of trends/clichés, and general goofiness) but in film form. It's not necessarily an amazing film, but its exactly what I as a fan wanted. A viewing night with friends had lots of laughs.

I don't believe that the RedLetterMedia crew set out to make a bad movie, it's too bad that's what this is. The in-jokes and the tongue-firmly-planted-in-cheek mentality drag down something that I should enjoy based on those involved.

Schlock from wall to wall, which is what the RLM guys know best. I think they really nailed the tone, look, feel in 'Feeding Frenzy' though, Space Cop doesn't reach as many high notes, unfortunately. What it does do, is be set in a location the RLM guys would have enjoyed filling a plot out in & during a few scenes I started to wonder how many people would rate this higher than say, Revenge of the Sith.

Very low budget. Super cheesy & intentionally bad props, sets, story, plot, dialog & acting. They tried for silly & campy but got ridiculous. Lots of goofy gags. Some crude & raunchy material. The cop from the past was particularly awful. It should have been fun, but it was not funny enough & performances were annoying. It was very hard to stay with it to the end, as it just seemed to get worse as it progressed. Instead of being silly campy fun it was tiresome & asinine stupidity.

People who don't like RedLetterMedia would probably be confused why people like it. Then again I doubt they'll ever be exposed to it. It's pretty fun.

RLM does their take on 80's action schlock parody with a hint of Tim & Eric and make a decent job with it. The last act is clearly the best and funniest part but the 50's cop doesn't work and the cop partner interplay falls flat. Definitely one for their fans or those MST3K-comfortable with bad movie stereotypes. Special shout-out to the effects and music, both are oddly good for a movie this low budget.

Can't really understand why people didn't like it. Perhaps they were expecting Sharknado in the future or something? It's a great tribute to 80s action sci-fi with some funny gags sprinkled in throughout. Few story points didn't get developed enough and Stoklasa's accent was a bad choice, but overall very good.

I like Red Letter Media and I know that they made this movie purposely bad, but it doesn't work. It wasn't funny, it wasn't clever parody of bad movies, it was nothing. It had maybe one funny scene, maybe, I don't remember and I will forget whole movie in a few days...

If you're a fan of Red Letter Media and their style of humor, you'll probably enjoy it. If you showed it to someone not familiar with Red Letter Media, they'd probably hate it. I recommend, but only for people who have watched and rewatched most of their content.

Meh....Nice to see the lads do their shtick in feature film format (& with impressive quality WHERE THEY INTEND IT) but rather hit & miss. | If U're a fan of RedLetterMedia, with a little time to kill, it'll generate some mild chuckles & a warm, smug glow of being in the smart-arse, piss-takers club. If U aren't spotting familiar faces & running gags it'll probably leave U cold. Watch at least a 3+ of 'Best of The Worst' RLM episodes 1st or, really, it's barely going to be worth your time

Their love of the subject matter is palpable, but it veers too much toward inside jokes and jokes that rely on the specific knowledge that they and their viewers share. It fails to rise above that, but is moderately fun if you are in the rather niche target audience.
