Space Adventure Cobra

Overhyped cartoon.

Three strong, powerful women, well able to solve their own problems, were instead sacrificed so a man could have a fun adventure. Loses lots of points for that, but the art is very cool and the pacing is good. Lots of stupid illogical stuff though. It's a pity so much money and effort was put into such a bad script.

I found this to be so much fun. The tongue-in-cheek yet cheese dialogue, good soundtrack, and interesting story make it worthwhile to me. I'm also very fond of the art style of 80ies anime, especially when set in a dark future-type environment. Sure one wonders why all women were skimpy clothing, but who am I to complain!
