Souten Ki Beti

The first hour of this film offers up some great opportunities for some gripping drama unfortunately each opportunity is skimmed over with a time jump. The film settles down in the second half but with mostly "new" characters that I don't really know or care about. How quick everyone is to sacrifice themselves, especially the women, undermines the drama, that and the fact that they are unable or willing to look for other solutions. It's an interesting melodrama but not one I really connected to.
