Have you ever been so sick that you had to vomit and crap at the same time, but you couldn't decide which had priority at the one toilet that you have immediate access to? So then your body decides for you, and it all comes out at once? And then the phone rings? And then you realize that you're outta toilet paper? This movie is that bad. Not as good as it could've been.I like the concept of the movie, just wish they focused more on Kevin Hart's character. It's kind of like Airplane!, but with a lot more questionable sexual jokes, which have aged pretty badly. It's not all out horrible unlike some other movies I've seen, but there are better ones out there.

Black version of Airplane, it's alright but the main problem is comedians are the headline actors (and don't play the movie straight like the supporting actors). Subplots are brought up for jokes and then completely forgotten about. Mildly funny when drunk though because some of these jokes are amazing

Staggering, beautiful, and moving, Soul Plane is as incisive a rumination on race in post-9/11 America as one could hope for. Absolutely breathtaking.

LOL remember this one, I'll have to watch it again but seem to recall it being so incredibly bad that it borders on the glorious at times, so maybe it deserves higher score.

Missed the first 30 minutes; would imagine I'd have scored it even lower if I hadn't. Nice to see it's okay to be misogynistic, obnoxious and unfunny as long as it's in the name of hip hop culture.

The "black version" of Airplane. At least, what is attempted here. But it is a disaster, it is not funny.

God awful. Nothing redeeming in this one.

What pisses me off more than anything is when people play into stereotypes without recognizing the stereotypes, defining themselves through bigoted, racist and sexist ideals without even the foggiest of self-realization. Plot: 420 gets you in trouble. Black people have big dicks that white women want in their mouths until they lose their vocal cords. They also want to have sex, all the time, everywhere, which gets them in trouble. But they will stop to star in a rap video inflight.

I started dating a black girl, so my friend got me this movie as a joke. Let me repeat... "as a joke".

Despite being warned, I wasted the price of a ticket on this. Not even worth renting on DVD.

Don't expect any plot. Don't expect any smart jokes. But for a call-up to the blaxploitation genre, this is not all that bad.

One admittedly very funny part where everyone on the plane runs up to the cockpit to meet the newly legal 18 year old girl, while he father watches in dismay and terror. Aside from that it's definitely catered to someone who enjoys hip-hop culture. If you like that sort of thing then by all means check this movie out. But if you don't this one major laugh doesn't make up for the rest of the film.
