Biagio Solise loves working on the windows of Milan's skyscrapers but is overwhelmed on the ground by the tumult and pressure of crowded streets. He also earns money working as an extra at the La Scala opera. When a famous diva is murdered, he decides that he wants to be convicted of the crime, in order to become famous.
