Ham-fisted teen romance, cynically cashing in on Covid paranoia. Utterly pointless and nauseating.

I don't get the hate.

It uses the pandemic to play up the fear of possibilities arising. Beyond that it has a serviceable plot with actors capable of making you see it through. Apa and Carson are component enough in this thriller to carry the story where it needed to go. Demi Moore, Bradley Whitford, Craig Robinson and Alexandra Daddario fill in nicely as a supporting cast. Aside from using the pandemic as a fear tactic it never raises the genre to new heights and that's kinda a bummer. It had potential.

Having a flimsy plot, its redeeming value is the unique position as first in the Covid genre.
