This movie makes me sad. I'm pretty sure that wasn't the point.

Average, but also kind of good.. Good performances from the cast.

Kinda 'meeeh', but still quite fun (and moving for a football fanatic like myself), and I was very impressed with my old pal Esben Smed as John 'Faxe' Jensen. Well done!

I take issue with the editing of the actual football games (which, thankfully, take up little space) and accept that people may take issue with the cancer subplot - but by golly! I can't recall the last time I was as engaged in a Danish on-screen character as I was with Ricardo Møller. And I don't even care about soccer - If the movie hadn't been made I literally might have gone through life never knowing we won the uh ... World Cup? European Cup? ... not googling that to pretend I knew.

A pleasant surprise, despite the weak football scenes. It really made me care about Richard Møller Nielsen. Well deserved recognition. *Good

Charming and surprisingly touching. Despite rather cheap effects on the football field this couldn't have been done much better.

Makes me proud to be Dane. Great story, good cast and well told. Loved how the focus was on the characters and not so much trying to make actors recreate football - it worked very well with the old clips. *Good

Probably overrating because I'm a sucker for sports. Mixing archive with performances of the game provides average results -- nothing better or worse than boots ad - but it's interesting as a character piece on Nielsen - unwanted hard-working hero (press, players, football association), but the man who brought home the trophy without Michael - and a really cool time machine about 90s football -- less art and flair (as Denmark in 86 WC), more tactics-driven, defensive-minded, battle ground style.

As I said before, soccer is a huge shit. How can people make drama out of this bullshit?
