Something New

A cute little rom-com sleeper movie. The male love interest's personality could've been fleshed out a bit more; he seemed like a Ken doll.

This movie feels good watching it, unlike other racially charged movies.

An okay romantic comedy with a few insights into bi-racial relationships. Not really entirely sucessful, but in terms of rom-coms you could do a lot worse.

Cartoony but agreeable race-relation comedy. Not at all memorable, but goes down nicely.

This movie was sexy and set up an interesting set of hurdles for the young couple. Unfortunately, for all of Sanaa Latham and Simon Baker's considerable charisma, the lead-footed direction gets in the way.
