Almost two films: Ricardo Montalban tries to survive in the jungle; Ricardo Montalban tries to survive the lust of a young woman's budding sexuality. He barely makes it out alive each time. Both romantic leads exude a rare, palpable physicality that makes up for some narrative inconsistencies.
