Based on classic Persian literature, Sohrab at Rustum (1950) brings the costumes, fantasy and swashbuckling to the pinoy screen. Not sure how stylistic the sword battling was, but it sure was fun! The rest felt more ambitious than usual for the Philippines, but it's still a uneven experience that leaves off on a good mood because of the action.
