A small Movie with great feelings and a real good cast. Weaver plays her role so affecting. The relationship between the protagonists never drifts away into sob-stuff, and that's the reason you'll have a heart-warming feeling at the end of the movie. Highly Recommendable!!

If you love Alan Rickman and Sigourney Weaver, this is the movie you should try! Both are great in their roles, it's a really lovely story, perfectly balanced between laughing and crying. Simply great.

An touching film that showcases two amazing actors. Snow Cake is Alan Rickman's best performance ever, and Weaver was brilliant at playing an autistic adult. Great story placing, with a great balance of sadness and comedy... just like life itself. It's unfortunate this movie wasn't distributed to a wider audience.

It's a small film with no outstanding side. But still warm and enjoyable. Sigourney Weaver by the way is inspirational.

Aww the manic pixie dream girl died. Then we have sigourney weaver apeing someone... autistic? Brian damaged? I don't think the writer met anyone autistic.

Quirky but questionable small-town drama with some odd casting. At first, Sigourney Weaver's autist portrayal seems forced and cringeworthy; while she does grow into the role a little, it's neither her best role nor the genre's. Rickman is his usual glum self, and doesn't act much like a recent long-term convict. A few scenes work and more don't. The whole exercise feels a bit pointless and doesn't say much meaningful about grief, parenthood or autism.

Some nice moments and the presence of great actors - but not time well spent.

Top badass moment? Finding out from Linda that having a mouthful of snow is like having an orgasm. That's pretty badass when you think about it, and cold. No cats, decapitations or chainsaws.

VERY odd, contrived drama is a mishmash of different tones, styles and performances, and can't decide where its focus should lie; as the story of a man regaining his life focus it doesn't succeed, as the Rickman character remains bafflingly enigmatic. As the story of an autistic woman trying to deal with day-to-day life it is most successful, largely thanks to Weaver's quite amazing, convincing and touching performance. Subplot involving Moss-Rickman romance feels extraneous and underdeveloped.

Alan Rickman is great in this movie. This movie has a good story and I think the ending is realistic. Check this out if you like independent films with good stories.

Quirky characters, good performances. Hell anything with Rickman in it is going to rule, right? Interesting all around though not really blow you away good. Great soundtrack too.

Very good movie with S.Weaver, comparable with Rain Man.
Sometimes I had to laugh with some funny scenes that you don't expect. Nice movie.
