Weirder than I expected. The animation has some really good textures and details, but the people move weirdly and often pointlessly. The script is written more to fit the lip flaps than to make sense, but there's an interesting mythology hiding somewhere in there. It's not a movie I would really recommend, but if I had seen it as a kid, I would probably have a deep, heartfelt, irrational love for it.

Animation was better than expected, the storyline is the usual "All powerful evil ruler is stymied by the fact of having no henchmen worth their salt"
