Snapphanar

In it's historical context this doesn't come out all that good. The film, using a previous Scandinavian war, basically takes sides with the occupying power. But I'm not a political person, so I can enjoy this ultimately unheroic war comedy/drama. Not meant to be exciting, rather a family friendly propaganda film with plenty of humor, musical number, along with plenty of flirting. Simply good natured fun with jolly tubby Edvard Persson making sure the moral lesson isn't too hard to swallow.
