Hints of Marker and Keiller, this very interesting exploration of the concept of utopia benefits from a good eye for composition, a good ear for musical selection, and a very low-key, if not sly, sense of humour. My first impression of Ben Rivers is that he may be the real deal: an artist who is worth something.
