Walter Byron does a very good performance as the privileged drunk accidentally sitting at night court deciding to marry Evalyn Knapp to prevent her from going to jail. Knapp herself was the key to make this sporting flirt. The mood is for the most part light-hearted with also Marie Prevost turning up as the good friend being a likable gal. There is one scenario which make it different. A slightly drunken marriage rape which in a weird way make way for the Hollywood ending.
