Desde Heaven Can Wait Don Ameche é um dos meus crushs cinematográficos, fui ver esse só sabendo que o Sirk era o diretor e embora essa versão de Pigmalião para o mundo do cinema tenha certo charme por todos os envolvidos, não chega a ser memorável. Remake of Let's Fall in Love (1933). In the '33 version they were looking for the newest Swedish sensation. It was the Garbo era. Here they've switched it to French, so Dorothy Lamour has to pretend she's French to get the part in Don Ameche's movie. A very fluff piece of work considering you've got Douglas Sirk directing it, but it's slightly better than the original, mostly due to Lamour going good job wit the role.
