This was a really solid Nemuri Kyoshiro film. Hiroki Matsukata is fine as the lead but his portrayal is very different than Ichikawa Raizo, his Nemuri is more human than Raizo's cold, calculating and stoic version, its a bit jarring but still works well. The biggest flaw to me is that the full moon techniques doesn't seem that special in this one. A fun movie and a solid continuation of the series.
