Šiška Deluxe

You can feel, like in most Slovene films, melancholy deeply rooted in this little nation. It does develop a more positive site, even a cute little ending, but overall feeling is rather dramatique. Would be interesting to rewatch it in few years, not sooner.

Šiška Deluxe is kind of a mess. The comedy and the drama don't go well with each other in this one. The jokes don't hit always and the dramatic portion seems a bit out of place when it comes in. I would've expect more from a director like Cvitkovi? to be honest. That being said, there are moments that show this film had a huge potential and actually work, sadly those moments are far too rare to make this anything more than just "watchable".
