Sirocco

Rather dull but perfectly watchable desert war melodrama.

Rather dull, ok in parts, but trying unsuccessfully to be like Casablanca.

Got all the dark corners you'd expect from a Humphrey Bogart movie, but not sharp enough edges to become a one of Bogy's big adventures into the danger zone. Felt like a combination of Casablanca and Pépé le Moko, actually. So it's got shades of greatness, even if doesn't quite reach there.

Dragged on a bit but still ok.

Bogey as a gun runner, he's cynical and bad ass as always, but this one fails to be anything more than one more movie under his belt. That ending was too melodramatic for my taste too.
