Of the singing Beebe brothers, young Mike just wants to be a kid; responsible Dave wants to work in his garage and marry Martha; but feckless Joe thinks his only road to success is through swapping and gambling. It seems the only thing all three can join in is their singing act, which Mike and Dave hate. Finally, all Joe's hopes are pinned on a race horse he's acquired, but it's a bigger gamble than his family knows. Hilarious sequence involving a lecturer on seals. (imdb)

Bing Crosby is sort of the black sheep of the family. The free-living one that can never hold a steady job, with his two brothers and sweet loving mother suffering because of it. An enjoyable one, with a few nice musical numbers thrown in. It's not a total Bing movie as they are all there as a family together, Bing, Fred MacMurray, young Donald O'Connor in probable his break-through role and Elizabeth Patterson as the mother. And it's a nice little dysfunctional feel good family movie.
