Silver and the Book of Dreams

Silver and the Book of Dreams suffers from a poor screenplay and mediocre direction. From the onset, we are frantically dropped into a new family dynamic with no contextualisation apart from the protagonist's dad having died. The characters' moods seem to change every time the plot needs to move itself along, with the actors just getting more shouty. There's a cool concept in there, and the pan-European cast gathering in London is commendable, but everything in the film is just poorly executed.
