Silver Dollar

A biographical film based on the life of short-term Senator and wealthy Colorado man Horace A.W. Tabor, and Edward G. Robinson makes him come alive on screen. The movie moves along swiftly, but it's not the kind of production that'll create much excitement. Basically a fine story delivered in a way that you get a sense of a great and lucky man that gets a lot of easy breaks in life and is overly generous with his money, which eventually has it's price.
