Stunning film that's well done and very down to earth. This isn't random sleazy z-grade sexploitation, this is drama that digs deep into what it is to be human in society

Has aspirations to be something a bit more than your typical exploitation film, and is occasionally effective in creating a feeling of foreboding, in a Wicker Man / Deliverance sort of way. But it's still dumb, and the biggest reason is that the gratuitous exploitation scenes are as ridiculous as they are unnecessary.

This film really is well done and has a lot going for it from cinematography to lighting and the score. But goddamn, if it doesn't kick off with some of the hardest to watch, *REAL* animal stuff I've ever seen in any film, and it just gets more disturbing from there. I'd say if you've ever been disturbed by anything in any film ever, you consider giving this one a hard pass.
