Story had some potential and it's on a higher technical level than I'd expect from Polish SF from that time, but the whole film is devoid of any tension and killed by lifeless performances. It's quite ironic that the boredom of the whole thing is even somehow manifested when in the middle of the film crew just starts watching cartoons and during final scenes captain takes a nap. How could I care if their mission is successful when even characters in the film apparently don't give a shit?
