These sets were for Kung-Fu fighting not this, not thiiiiiiiiiiissss. Maggots and worms always look grosser in these movies, must be because someone was having sex with them... Why did I watch this lol

Interesting attempt at mixing giallo elements, HK horror and usual Chih-Hung Kwei's weirdness, but somehow it's rather boring.

A Hong Kong giallo featuring a necrophiliac serial killer that doesn't skimp on the maggots. Not exactly the type of insanity you might expect from a Shaw Brothers horror but it gets real good once it goes full Bava impression for the last half hour or so. Lots of foggy streets and an impressive set for the brothel where most of it takes place

I watched this hoping for something along the lines of the Black Magic films but unfortunately this was more like an Italian giallo or horror film, which I'm not a big fan of. It was some what boring and only some of the kills and gore done well. Overall a disappointment. Fans of Argento, Mario Bava, or Fulci should enjoy this.
