Shriek of the Mutilated

Man in furry onesie runs around woods, while supposed college students talk interminably. The kind of movie where you find yourself begging for a twist, only to realise there is one and it's so dumb (and more than a bit racist) that you've almost finished laughing by the time they finally get around to it.

Mmmm, yeah this stinks pretty bad.

Silly B- movie about a yeti. There is a twist in the usual proceedings but it's all in good fun.

A lot goofier and funnier than I expected. Bad acting, WTF moments (some of it very outdated and un-PC), dramatic (archival?) music (+Popcorn!) and the Yeti costume provided a lot of laughs, and at least some of it must have been intentional. Location also added some charm, although the illusion of an isolated island was quickly destroyed by passing cars on the background. My biggest compliment is that I started watching it late at night and didn't have any problem sticking with it to the end.
