Shredder Orpheus

Junkie poet Steven Jesse Bernstein spends most of this movie sitting on a skateboard and screaming incoherently at people, buildings, etc. Within a year he'd be dead of multiple self-inflicted stab wounds to the throat with a ballpoint pen. Seems like a pretty cool guy. Oh, right, this movie melted my face.

Cool micro-budget skater punk interpretation of the Orpheus myth set in a future dystopia that offers some accurate predictions, such as people living in freight containers and maybe ASMR if it was a consolidated corporatised mainstream media propaganda scheme to enrapture the masses (interesting concept). Often seems to sit between Dr. Caligari and Roller Blade thematically and aesthetically but this is not quite so well articulated. Definitely a fun watch though.

If you're thinking there's no way this movie could live up to its plot summary, you'd be correct!
